A family run business who strive to deliver only the best customer service, and who go the extra mile… something nowadays sadly is not the epitome of every business.
This business no longer do gas oven repairs,
Alan’s response was not a “no”, he asked me for the appliance model number, and the issue I was having, identified the replacement parts I needed, passed all information onto someone he highly recommended who is gas registered , who will contact me to carry out my repairs.

Called Alan as I had a problem with my fan oven. Very knowledgeable on the phone in initially narrowing down the type of fault I had and then organised to come round the following day as he had the part in stock. Arrived on time, replaced the faulty part and also gave advice that another part had probably caused the fault so rectified that one to. Very friendly, very fair prices and I cannot fault the service. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you Alan.

Quick, courteous, professional response to our emergency and fixed it.
When my oven developed a problem and tripped the main fuse box, In spite of phoning late in the evening, my call was answered courteously and a visit for the next day was arranged. Alan came at the appointed time and very efficiently and professionally fixed the problem. He was friendly and knowledgeable and charged a fair price as quoted when I phoned. Honest and affordable!
Recently had Alan out to look at our broken fridge freezer. He came the next day and was totally honest in his opinion that he thought it was beyond repair. That said, he went away and researched the fault even further and came up with a few possible solutions I could try myself. He gave me plenty of advice on what brands I could replace it with (and avoid!). Thoroughly decent man, honest and dependable. Wouldn't hesitate to use him again. Thanks Alan!

Alan came to fix our dishwasher and worked out the problem very quickly and repaired it. It took less than 30 mins start to finish. He took time to explain the problem. Fridge freezer
Alan came on time, explained what was wrong with the fridge freezer and his intended repair. He then worked hard to mend it but ultimately this was not possible. I was given very good information regarding a new appliance which I have followed. I have just received a call to check that all is ok - amazing! Highly recommended.

I have been extremely impressed by the service provided by Alan. Things started well when he rearranged his day so that he could attend within hours of me calling him. Then not only did he identify the fault in our washing machine but was able to fix it there and then. A great job. I would definitely use AJ’s again. He saved me having to spend the weekend in the launderette and was also much more reasonably priced than a Miele technician (which he was in an earlier life).

I can’t rate AJ’s Domestic Appliance Repair Service high enough. Since I found Alan, we’ve not been anywhere else and he’s my first port of call if washing machine plays up. He’s very knowledgable and perseveres until the job is done and goes the extra mile if needed. He always tries to fit us in as soon as possible even when very busy. We had an emergency New Year’s Eve when the heating element in our oven stopped working. Although the lovely man at AJ’s wasn’t supposed to be working that day, he took pity on me and came by within an hour with the correct element, fixed it on the spot, and completely saved the day and evening. Washer/dryer emergency!
We had a major problem with our Bosch washer/dryer when a wire from a bra became lodged behind the drum. A friend recommended AJ’s Domestic Appliance Repairs and Alan Jackson responded next day.
It was quite a challenge but thanks to Alan’s knowledge, skill and persistence he managed to remove the offending wire and now the machine works perfectly again!
We would definitely recommend this company and will certainly call them again.

Further advice was then offered as to replacement options.

High quality values and workmanship - a real find!
Based on the excellent reviews, I called AJ's when my dishwasher packed up. Alan arrived exactly when he said he would, diagnosed the problem quickly and was honest in his opinion that the dishwasher was beyond economic repair. We talked through the issue and options and, as a result, I felt confident I could trust his advice. He came back a week later to fit the new machine at no additional charge, which was great. Reliable, high quality work and good advice, I'll definitely call Alan first for my next domestic appliance crisis!

This is the third appliance that Alan has visited my property to repair. After previously repairing my old washing machine and my tumble dryer, Alan promptly visited after my cry for help with my current washing machine. He completely fixed the issue, however the next day I noticed what I thought was the machine leaking. Alan returned again promptly, and we discovered that the problem was actually the result of some recent dodgy plumbing done by a relative of mine when he installed my dishwasher. This issue was no fault of Alans at all and didn't relate to the washing machine itself, yet he still fixed it for me. Nothing was too much trouble. Alan is absolutely my go-to person now. He is most definitely a 'fixer' who prefers to get to the bottom of the problem, rather than being too quick to deem appliances or parts of appliances 'dead' and in need of replacing. Has saved me many ££££'s.
